2012 Muster
Approximately 500 people attended the MCFSC’s 2nd annual Firefighter’s Muster held in April at the Community Center Park. It was co-sponsored by our local fire and safety agencies. There were activities for kids and adults alike including demonstrations of tree cutting, wood splitting, K-9 drug sniffing and criminal apprehending and firefighting. The Rotary had a food stand for lunch. The MCFSC wants to thank all of our local organizations and partner agencies who participated in this event to education the community on the importance of doing fire abatement on local properties and the forest around our community.
Mike Esnard, MCFSC President was the MC.
A favorite event was the K-9 demonstration.
Other popular events were the arrival of Smokey and the fire hose management demo.
Kids and adults alike enjoyed seeing the antique emergency vehicles.
Finally, the Woodies demonstrated their work in splitting wood for the Help Center.
